To simplify Cloud and Telecoms, we also need to be able to explain them clearly and concisely. Find the definition of the most common terms used in our business.
DSLAM
Acronym for "Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer". Installed in upload from the local loop, this equipment distinguishes between the PSTN and the Internet on the same copper pair, and manages line traffic from the NRA (incumbent operator's connection node) to the access provider's DSLnetwork.
