Local loop
The local loop is what connects a user of a network to the first equipment level of the network to which he subscribes. It is therefore the connectivity between the site, the user and the first network point to connect and establish a connection. (Path from the operator's dispatcher to the subscriber's connection point).
Five criteria come into play: bandwidth, eligibility, cost, time and operators. Some operators offer multi-technology redundancy in order to increase their local loop offer.
