To simplify Cloud and Telecoms, we also need to be able to explain them clearly and concisely. Find the definition of the most common terms used in our business.
Public Cloud
A Public Cloud operates on the model of Cloud Computing, in which a service provider makes resources (Virtual Machines, storage applications etc.) available to the general public on the Internet. Public Cloud services can be free or pay-per-use. Careful: a Public Cloud does not mean thatt the data is accessible to everyone, but that it is hosted on a multitude of servers accessible by a given number of users.
