Firewall per session
Also known as a stateful firewall, it is a firewall that stores the state of a network connection. This allows for better detection and prevention of intrusions and therefore better security. It allows you to control and enforce rules per session to improve security and processing performance. The rules are analyzed according to many criteria such as source/destination interfaces, source/destination IPs/users/machines, services and schedules.
