To simplify Cloud and Telecoms, we also need to be able to explain them clearly and concisely. Find the definition of the most common terms used in our business.
DID
Acronym for Direct Inward Dialing [DID] or Direct Dial-In [DDI]. The DID designates a specificity of the ISDN network (analog lines) which makes it possible to call directly an internal station (to a company, an administration) with an external telephone without intermediary. It is also called a direct number. By abuse of language, one calls DID all the telephone numbers.
