5G
5G is the fifth generation of mobile networks. It will be gradually rolled out from 2020 onwards. 5G uses a new 3.5GHz frequency band (compared with 2.1GHz for 4G), which guarantees higher speeds (currently 3 to 4 times higher), greater availability (particularly in city centres to avoid saturation of the existing network) and better performance.
